CrushCross collects the information you provide directly — your name, email address, age, and phone number at signup; profile details such as photos, bio, interests, and preferences; and the messages you send through in-app chat.
If you choose to enable location, we also collect your approximate location to power distance-based matching — this is always optional and can be turned off in Settings.
We automatically collect basic device information (operating system, app version, device type) and usage analytics (actions taken, time spent, features used) to keep the app working reliably and to understand which features are useful.
We use your data to: create and authenticate your account; display your profile and power AI agent matchmaking and discovery; process premium subscription payments through Razorpay; provide customer support; improve the app through aggregate analytics; and, only with your consent, send marketing communications.
We do not use your data for anything beyond what is needed to run these features.
We share limited data with the service providers that run CrushCross: Firebase (authentication, storage, push notifications), Google Analytics (usage analytics), Google AdSense (advertising for free users), and Razorpay (payment processing for premium subscriptions). Each of these providers only receives the data it needs to do its job.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share your profile or messages with other users beyond what you intentionally make visible — your profile is shown to other users as part of discovery, and messages are only visible to the people you are chatting with.
Where legally required, we may disclose information to comply with the law, respond to valid legal requests, or protect user safety — see our Safety & Reporting page for how we handle child safety and abuse reports.
We keep your data for as long as your account stays active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain limited records for longer.
Chat history is retained only while the conversation is active between you and the other person; once a conversation or match ends, that history is deleted.
You can, at any time, from within the app: access the data associated with your account; export a copy of your data; update your profile information; and delete your account and data entirely.

CrushCross uses cookies and similar technologies for a few specific purposes: keeping you logged in (authentication), remembering your language and theme preferences, understanding how the app is used (analytics), and showing relevant ads to free users (advertising, via Google AdSense).
